Information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

  • Order and account information: name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, phone number, account credentials, products ordered, order history, coupons, tax and shipping information, and order notes.
  • Payment information: payment status, payment method, transaction identifiers, and limited payment details returned by the payment provider. Full card numbers are processed by our payment providers and are not stored by RIOT.
  • Messages and support information: information you send through forms, email, phone, text, product-support requests, return requests, dealer inquiries, reviews, or comments.
  • Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, referring page, pages and products viewed, cart and checkout activity, approximate location, cookie choices, and diagnostic or security information.
  • Dealer information: business name, contact information, resale or tax documentation, purchasing history, and other information needed to evaluate and service a dealer relationship.

How we use information

  • Process, fulfill, ship, and support orders, backorders, returns, and exchanges.
  • Manage customer and dealer accounts and respond to questions.
  • Calculate taxes, prevent fraud, secure the site, and diagnose technical problems.
  • Maintain business, accounting, warranty, and legal records.
  • Understand product and site performance and improve the RIOT shopping experience when analytics consent permits it.
  • Send transactional messages about orders, accounts, and support. Marketing messages are sent only where permitted, and you can unsubscribe from them.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.

Cookies and consent choices

Essential cookies support functions such as the shopping cart, checkout, account login, security, and saving your privacy choices. With your permission, analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site and its products. Non-essential tracking is controlled through our cookie-consent system.

You can accept, reject, or customize non-essential cookies in the consent banner. You can change your choice later using the Cookie Preferences control shown on the site. Our current cookie inventory and cookie durations are available in our Cookie Policy. Browser controls may also let you delete or block cookies, although blocking essential cookies can prevent parts of the store from working.

Analytics

When permitted by your consent choice, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and ecommerce interactions such as product-list views, product views, cart activity, checkout activity, and purchases. Google may process device, browser, IP-derived, and usage information to provide these reports. We use Google Consent Mode v2 to communicate consent choices to Google. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, full street addresses, or full payment-card information to Google Analytics.

Analytics information is retained according to our configured Google Analytics retention settings and Google’s terms. You may reject analytics through Cookie Preferences. For additional information, see Google’s Privacy Policy.

Who receives information

We share information only as needed to operate the business, fulfill your requests, protect the store, or comply with law. Recipients may include:

  • Hosting and website providers: Hostinger, WordPress, WooCommerce, Automattic, Jetpack, and service providers that host, secure, cache, back up, or maintain the site.
  • Payment providers: WooPayments, Stripe, PayPal, banks, card networks, and fraud-prevention providers involved in a transaction.
  • Shipping and fulfillment providers: postal services, carriers, address-validation services, and other providers needed to deliver and track an order.
  • Communications providers: email-delivery and form-processing services used to send transactional messages and receive inquiries.
  • Analytics provider: Google, when your consent permits analytics processing.
  • Professional and legal recipients: accountants, insurers, advisers, regulators, law enforcement, courts, or other parties when reasonably necessary to protect rights, comply with law, or respond to valid legal process.
  • Business-transfer recipients: a buyer, successor, or adviser in connection with a proposed or completed sale, financing, merger, or transfer of business assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly use personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this policy and provide any legally required choices.

Payments

Payment providers collect and process the payment information needed to complete your transaction under their own privacy terms. RIOT generally receives confirmation, transaction identifiers, risk information, and limited payment-method details rather than your complete card number. Please review the privacy notice presented by the payment provider you choose at checkout.

Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above. Order and transaction records may be kept for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, warranty, dispute, and legal purposes. Account information is generally kept while the account remains active and as needed afterward for legitimate recordkeeping. Messages and dealer records are kept as needed to manage the relationship and resolve requests. Cookie choices are currently stored for 30 days unless you change or clear them sooner. Retention may be extended when required by law, litigation hold, chargeback, or another legitimate obligation.

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of certain personal information; to object to or restrict certain processing; or to withdraw consent. You may also update information in your account and change non-essential cookie choices through Cookie Preferences.

To make a privacy request, contact madison@riot-mfg.com. Tell us what you are requesting and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. Some information may be retained where an exception or legal obligation applies.

International customers

RIOT is based in Texas, United States. If you visit or order from another country, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States and in other countries where our providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live. We and our providers use appropriate safeguards where required.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No website, network, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your account password and contact us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

Children

The store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

Third-party sites and embedded content

The site may link to or embed content from third-party websites and social platforms. Those parties control their own information practices. Review their privacy policies before providing information or interacting with their services.

Policy updates

We may update this Privacy Policy as the store, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated when required.
